Founded in 1976,
Cedec is a research, reflection and action center dedicated to the study of problems in the Brazilian reality in its local and international dimensions.
It has a vocation as a plural space for debates.
Its activities are focused on topics such as human rights and social justice, the constitution and consolidation of citizenship, democratic institutions and practices, public policies seen from the perspective of their public character, international relations and regional integration. .
